Performance Partnership for ambitious men
Fulfil your true potential
Uncharted Performance is a multidisciplinary performance partnership for ambitious men who are successful on paper, but know their health, energy and sense of purpose no longer match their potential.
We help you build the physical robustness, mental resilience and real-world leadership required to take back control, pursue the challenges you dare do dream about and perform consistently across every area of your life.
Without living in the gym.Without following another half-baked plan.Without becoming exhausted, unavailable or impossible to live with.
Built for ambitious men who expect more from themselves; without taking away from their health, career or family.

THE REALITY
YOU HAVE ALREADY PROVED THEM WRONG.
People would say you’re doing well.So why does it feel like there’s more…?
You’ve worked your way to where you are now. You’ve got everything you said would make you happy. You’re the go-to person for so many others… So why do you still feel like an imposter?
Why does it still feel like you’re coasting – and could do so much more? More frustratingly – why does it feel like your own dreams and aspirations have started appearing at the bottom of the to-do lists you’re always writing?
You’re ‘turning up’ to train. But are you really turning up?
More days than not, you wake up feeling like you could have slept longer.
You’re busy all day, but still never feel done…
So you just don’t want to switch off.
That follows you home. You’re there in body – but your mind is elsewhere. Things aren’t bad, by any stretch. But they’re also not great.
Not failing. But not thriving.
Just quietly underperforming against the standard you know you are capable of.
You know there is another level.
You just cannot see a sustainable way to reach it.
THE PROBLEM
THIS COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING
You do not need to work harder.
You’ve already tried that – and you can work harder than most.
You have tried being stricter – and you have uncommon levels of discipline.
None of that is going to work.
That’s the reason you find it so easy to start things…
But so difficult to finish them.
You’ve bought the programs, tracked the data, read the books, followed the experts and promised yourself that things will settle down soon…
And that’s when you’ll crack on.
But how’s that going for you?
Instead:
- Your training gets squeezed around work and family rather than properly designed around them.
- You swing between intense periods of motivation and weeks of merely ticking boxes - then feel guilty about it.
- You know more than most about health and performance, but struggle to turn that information into consistent action.
- You are tired during the day, but your mind accelerates the moment your head hits the pillow.
- You say yes when you want to say no, then become frustrated by the pressure you have helped create.
- You feel guilty investing time, attention or money into yourself.
- You have achieved many of the things that were supposed to make you happy, yet still feel as though something is missing.
- You wonder where your hunger, confidence and excitement went.
- You look at the challenges other people are taking on and think, “I could do that.”
- You know your best years should be ahead of you, but your current trajectory does not make that feel inevitable.
THE OPPORTUNITY
A DIFFERENT KIND OF PERFORMANCE
What becomes possible when your health, energy and direction begin working together?
Imagine waking up knowing exactly what you are working towards:
- Training has a purpose.
- What you eat compliments, not complicates, your life.
- Your calendar reflects what matters to you, most.
- You have clear boundaries and the confidence to uphold them.
- You know when to push, when to recover and how to regulate yourself under pressure.
- You stop reacting to every demand and start making deliberate decisions.
- You have the physical capability to take on the race, expedition or challenge you have been thinking about for years.
- You walk through the door at home with energy left for the people who matter.
- You are doing less, but doing it better.
Most importantly, you begin to trust yourself again. That is Sustainable High Performance.
How we work
THE PATH TO YOUR MAXIMAL POTENTIAL
A performance system built around your real life.
Uncharted does not separate your fitness from your work, your mindset from your relationships or your ambition from your wellbeing. Everything affects everything. We begin by understanding the complete picture, then build a performance system around the man you are, the life you lead and the future you want to create.
DIAGNOSE
Days 1–30
The first 30 days are about clarity. Giving you back high quality energy every day and getting you back in the driving seat.
- We establish where you are now, what is draining your energy and where your greatest performance opportunities exist.
- We assess your training, energy management, dietary habits, recovery, stress management, systems, environmental engineering, beliefs, values and goals.
- We start by ‘picking the fiver up off the floor’. Identifying the changes that will generate the greatest return, and making them.
The aim is not to give you more to do. It is to do less, but better. It is to remove the noise, focus your attention and help you recover meaningful energy every day.
REBUILD
Days 31–90
The first 90 days are about momentum. The kind that can only come from evaluation, elimination and execution.
- We help you build your new high performance operating system that makes consistent performance possible in the pursuit of your North Star.
- We’ll help you craft your Goal Stack in a way you’ve never done before.
This clarity will bring energy, intentionality and momentum you’ve not had in years. To bring this to life…
- You’ll learn how to build high performance systems in every area of life.
- You’ll be leveraging technology and mastering energy management.
- Your calendar begins to reflect your highest values.
- Your training becomes ruthlessly consistent.
- You communicate clear boundaries, stronger routines and a more constructive relationship with pressure. You’re responding, not reacting.
By the end of this phase – you’ll know exactly where you’re going. Your high performance systems will have freed up 5-10 hours of quality time per week. You’ll be fitter now than you’ve been in years – maybe decades…
And now you’ll learn how to build on this.
PERFORM
Months 4–12
Months four to twelve are aboutproving what you are capable of.
You have the foundations. You have a clear goal.
Now we make it happen.
- Means you must make decisions as the man you wish to become.
- You strengthen your ability to perform under pressure.
- You become more deliberate in the way you lead yourself, communicate and make decisions.
- Your behaviours stop depending on perfect circumstances.
- Training, recovery and personal performance become part of who you are rather than another project you are trying to manage.
This is where you begin pursuing your first, furthest or fastest challenge while still performing at work and remaining present at home.
ASCEND
12 Months and Beyond
Your best years are no longer behind you.You are building them deliberately.
- You are no longer trying to return to a previous version of yourself.
- You have become someone stronger, calmer and more capable.
- You know how to build towards ambitious goals without abandoning everything else that matters.
- You have a clear personal standard, a meaningful quest and the confidence to keep evolving.
- Your health supports your ambition.
- Your ambition gives your life direction.
- Your family sees someone worth modelling.
THE CONTRAST
WITHOUT THERIGHT SUPPORT
- No clear performance direction
- Inconsistent training and recovery
- Conflicting health information
- More pressure and less energy
- All-or-nothing behaviour
- Constantly reacting
- Important goals repeatedly delayed
- Your needs remain at the bottom of the list
WITH AN UNCHARTED PERFORMANCE PARTNERSHIP
- Clear You know what matters, where you are going and what to do next.
- Personalised Your strategy reflects your body, lifestyle, goals and current capacity.
- Capable You become stronger, fitter and more durable without unnecessary volume.
- Resilient You manage pressure actively instead of carrying it until something breaks.
- Purposeful Your everyday actions connect to a bigger goal that genuinely excites you.
- Present You retain energy for your career, family, relationships and life outside performance.
- In Control You make decisions from self-trust rather than guilt, fear or the need to please everyone.
1:1. Multidisciplinary. Data-informed. Built around you.
A DIFFERENT APPROACH
You do not need another generic programme, optimisation protocol or motivational speech.

You do not need someone telling you to wake up earlier, push harder or become more disciplined.
And you do not need to assemble your own performance system from podcasts, apps, online programmes and conflicting expert opinions.
You need the right people looking at the complete picture.
Uncharted combines physical preparation, effective nutrition, mental performance and personal leadership into one coherent system.
We meet you where you are.
We determine what you actually need.
Then we help you do less, but better.
This is not about copying somebody else’s routine.
It is about designing a way of performing that can survive your workload, responsibilities, family life, travel and changing priorities.
Your plan should fit your life. Not require you to escape from it.
What we build
Together, we will create:
01
A personal performance system that gives you clarity, energy & control.
You will understand the conditions that allow you to perform at your best and the patterns that repeatedly pull you away from them.
Together, we build the routines, boundaries, recovery practices and decision-making frameworks that allow you to stay consistent without relying on willpower.
02
A body capable of carrying the ambition you still have.
Your physical programme is designed around your current baseline, training history, available time and future goals.
Whether you want to become stronger, improve your body composition, complete an ultra, set a personal best or simply feel physically capable again, your training will focus on the work that creates the greatest return.
03
A life and identity you are proud of for others to model.
Sustainable High Performance goes beyond physical results. You will clarify what you stand for, what you are building and what you are no longer prepared to tolerate.
You will become more deliberate with your time, more honest in your communication and more confident in pursuing the goals that matter to you.
WHY UNCHARTED EXISTS
“I spent years trying to solve everything alone.”
Marc Rhodes
Founder, Uncharted Performance
I had built the business. I earned good money. I had a loving relationship and a life that looked successful from the outside. But I still knew I was operating at seven out of ten. I was busy, but not moving towards anything that genuinely excited me.
I found myself looking at photographs of a fitter, stronger version of myself and wondering what had happened. For years, I told myself that I would pursue the challenges I wanted when I had more money or more time. Eventually, I realised I had both. The real barrier was not time. It was fear, uncertainty and the belief that I needed perfect information before I could act. Hiring the right coaches changed everything.
I stopped trying to create the map before entering the territory. I developed a clear purpose. I learned to manage my energy instead of simply filling my time. I trained like an athlete, built systems in my business, communicated more honestly and developed the physical and mental tools required to keep moving forward.
That process helped me complete the Marathon des Sables, the Jungle Ultra, achieve a podium finish at the Ice Ultra and attempt the Arctic Spine Race. But the greatest result was not a medal. It was becoming someone I trusted. Someone capable of doing hard things without destroying himself in the process.
Uncharted Performance was created to give other ambitious men the tools, training and team I spent years trying to find. So you do not have to waste the same time, energy or money solving it alone.
THE UNCHARTED PERFORMANCE MODEL
THREE CORE PERFORMANCE DRIVERS
Maximal potential is not created by focusing on one part of your life. It comes from developing a body that can perform, a mind that can withstand pressure and the ability to lead yourself with clarity.
Inside Uncharted, we work across three interconnected areas.
PHYSICALROBUSTNESS
Build a body that is strong, capable and ready for what comes next. Most people do not need more training. They need more effective training. Your physical strategy is designed to improve performance while respecting the demands already placed on your time, body and nervous system.
- Sustainable nutritional habits
- Body-composition support
- Performance fuelling
- Hydration and electrolyte strategies
- Intra-session and event nutrition
- Recovery and carbohydrate periodisation
- Structural balance
- Movement preparation
- Integrated rehabilitation
- Strength and power development
- Plyometrics
- Speed and reactivity
- Aerobic capacity
- Anaerobic conditioning
- Running skill and efficiency
- Threshold development
- Event-specific preparation
- Fatigue resistance and durability
MENTALRESILIENCE
Perform under pressure without allowing pressure to define you. Resilience is not about blindly tolerating more stress.
It is about understanding pressure, regulating yourself and responding deliberately.
- Nervous-system regulation
- Daily and weekly pressure drains
- Recovery practices
- Environmental design
- Delegation and leverage
- Systems that reduce decision fatigue
- Emotional regulation
- Neutral thinking
- Flow principles
- Attention management
- Decision-making frameworks
- Moving from reaction to response
- Personal values
- Belief systems
- Environmental engineering
- Self-esteem and self-trust
- Challenging the inner critic
- Building a more effective inner coach
HIGH-PERFORMANCELEADERSHIP
Lead yourself first. Then lead everything else more effectively.
Sustainable High Performance requires you to become deliberate about your standards, direction and communication.
- Planning and prioritisation
- Evaluate, eliminate and execute
- Ruthless implementation
- Rest ethics
- Personal accountability
- Consistent daily standards
- Your Massive Transformative Purpose
- High, hard goals
- Annual and quarterly goals
- Weekly and daily performance indicators
- Fulfilment

OUR BELIEFS
THE UNCHARTED STANDARD
Everything we do is built on three truths.

HEALTH DRIVESPERFORMANCE
Your ambition will always be limited by the energy, health and capacity available to support it.
Looking after yourself is not separate from performing professionally.
It is what makes sustained performance possible.

PEACE IS A PERFORMANCE STRATEGY
You cannot bully yourself into sustainable success.
Constant pressure might create short bursts of output, but it eventually damages consistency, decision-making and connection.
Calm creates perspective.
Recovery creates capacity.
Self-trust creates better performance.

YOUR BEST YEARS CAN STILL BE AHEAD OF YOU
You are not trying to become the person you were in your twenties.
You are building someone more capable.
More experienced. More intentional.
Someone with the physical strength, emotional range and personal leadership to make the next chapter the strongest one yet.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
A COMPLETE PERSONAL PERFORMANCE PARTNERSHIP
The expertise, structure and support required to turn your potential into consistent performance.
We begin by assessing your current health behaviours, physical capacity, training, recovery, stress, environment, routines and goals.
This gives us a clear baseline and prevents decisions being based on assumptions.
Your training is built around your body, current capacity, available time and desired outcomes.
We focus on the correct work, delivered at the correct dose, with a clear reason behind every session.
You receive practical nutritional guidance that supports your everyday health, body composition, training and event goals.
No unnecessary complexity.
No approach that collapses the moment you travel, eat with your family or have a demanding week.
You will develop practical skills for managing pressure, regulating emotion, improving self-talk and building greater confidence in your own decisions.
We help you define what you genuinely want, establish your North Star and build a hierarchy of goals that turns long-term ambition into clear everyday action.
Together, we install routines, boundaries, planning systems and recovery practices that protect your energy and make consistent action easier.
The goal is to make the right behaviour the simplest behaviour.
Your performance is monitored and reviewed so decisions can be made using evidence rather than emotion.
Your strategy evolves as your body, goals, workload and life change.
You have experienced professionals in your corner to provide perspective, challenge your assumptions and keep you moving when uncertainty appears.
You do not need a cheerleader.
You need people who will listen carefully, tell you the truth and hold you to a higher standard from a place of empathy.
You will be surrounded by people who understand the desire to pursue more.
People who value capability, adventure, family, integrity and personal responsibility.
The taller the mountain, the fewer people you find there.
Uncharted helps you find your people.
FAQs
Uncharted Performance is a multidisciplinary personal performance partnership for ambitious men.
We combine physical preparation, effective nutrition, mental performance coaching and high-performance leadership to help you improve your health, energy, resilience and capacity.
Everything is brought together into one personalised system built around your goals and real-life responsibilities.
Uncharted is designed for ambitious men, typically between 35 and 50, who are performing well professionally but know their physical health, energy or personal direction has not kept pace with their success.
Many of our clients work in demanding professional or corporate environments and have significant family responsibilities.
They are not starting from nothing. They are looking for a more intelligent and sustainable way to reach their next level.
No.
Physical training is an important part of the process, but it is only one part.
We also work on nutrition, recovery, stress management, emotional regulation, identity, personal standards, goal setting, communication, boundaries and the systems required to perform consistently.
The goal is not simply to make you fitter.
It is to help you become more capable across your entire life.
No.
Some clients arrive with a race, expedition or physical challenge already in mind.
Others know they need a meaningful goal but have not yet decided what it should be.
We can help you identify a challenge that is appropriate, exciting and aligned with the person you want to become.
The goal is not to make your life busier.
It is to identify what is wasting your energy, remove unnecessary complexity and focus your effort on the actions that create the greatest return.
Uncharted is built for people with demanding careers and family lives.
Your strategy must work inside those realities.
Not necessarily.
Your approach will depend on your baseline, goals, preferences and available capacity.
We do not prescribe unnecessary volume or complexity.
We use the minimum effective dose required to create meaningful progress, then adjust as your capacity develops.
A personal trainer will usually focus primarily on exercise sessions.
Uncharted considers the complete performance system.
That includes your physical training, nutrition, stress, sleep, recovery, goals, beliefs, environment, routines, boundaries and professional demands.
You are supported by a multidisciplinary team rather than relying on one person to solve every part of the problem.
Many clients begin noticing improvements in clarity, structure and energy during the first 30 days.
Meaningful physical and behavioural changes are usually developed over the first 90 days.
The deeper transformation comes from applying the system consistently over 12 months and beyond.
Exact results will vary depending on your starting point, goals, health, circumstances and level of implementation.
That is one of the main reasons Uncharted exists.
Inconsistency is rarely solved by applying more pressure.
We look at what repeatedly disrupts your progress, including unrealistic planning, all-or-nothing thinking, poor recovery, unclear goals, environmental friction and self-applied pressure.
Then we build a system that is more resilient to real life.
We will discuss where you are now, what you want to achieve and what is preventing you from reaching it.
We will explore your current training, health, energy, workload, responsibilities and ambitions.
If Uncharted appears to be the right fit, we will explain the process and what working together would involve.
There is no pressure to make a decision during the call.
YOUR NEXT MOVE
You know you are capable of more.
The only question is whether you continue trying to solve it alone or step into a partnership designed to bring the best out of you.
Your health matters. Your ambition matters. Your goals matter.
And your best years can still be ahead of you.
